PSXExtreme writes: "As we all know, one of the more appealing traits of the PlayStation 3 is the free Network, which only requires a simple sign-up subscription and not a single solitary dime of your hard-earned money. And given the huge strides the Network and Store have taken in the past two years, this has become even more of a bonus."
I just don't see it happening
Sony's online network is too based in microtransactions and advertising through Home.
A premium network is going to end up being free downloads instead of pay per item basis and advertising removed.
Simply put....see the video.
Why don't you guys stop and think for a second? Sony is already charging for Qore, PSN games, Clubs in Home, Movies, DLC, Themes(only a few) then why the heck would they make you pay for a Premium service in general? Sony's even putting a lot of advertisement in Home...
It would be harder for they to make money selling these things I just mentioned don't you think?
Sony is on microtransaction model
