The 360 has the headstart but could Sony have an advantage of better quality?
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
3,1,4,5 to me, never played 2. 5 gameplay is amazing but level design was really disappointing to me, just a bunch of plain arenas, the story felt like a worse written rehash of the 3rd and the charater models looked weird ( specially the ladies ). Another problem with 5 was that there was not enough content for 3 charaters so I could never really familiarize with any of them
2.
Dmc.

God DMC2 was an awful game.
And in case this isn't obvious it goes worst to best
Order changes depending on your focus. I tend to focus on gameplay/fun factor, so...
5, 3, 1, 4, 2.
I really didn't like 4 but commend Dante's weapon diversity. The retreading of old ground was pretty unacceptable to me.
But even then... Still more enjoyable than 2 for me
Plenty of unforgettable games have completely messed up their players throughout the years, all the way back from the PS1 days to the dark recesses of the modern internet.
Gary Green said: Namco Bandai heard the call of many fans asking for the PlayStation release of Tales of Graces which was originally released seemingly exclusively for the Wii back in 2009. If you’re acquainted with the Tales series then Graces f won’t be something entirely new to you, yet if you’re a newcomer then you’ll find a plethora of gameplay mechanics and nuances that distinguish this series from other JRPGs. While the game finds itself following the traditional archetype of JRPGs, such as a somewhat clichéd story, Graces has something to offer to both veterans and newcomers alike.
I was getting tired of these quick multi-platform comparisons of different sports titles and people waving them around like they really take advantage of a console's strengths like exclusives do.
These are the exact same people who did that comparison of mutlit-platfrom games by making fun of the graphics on Sonic on both the 360 and PS3. I will definetly be looking at there websit alot now that I know the website.
"The 360 has the headstart but could Sony have an advantage of better quality?"
No it doesn't.
Just look at COD3 or FNR3, the 360 wins hands down.
See the graphics from the PS3 major title, Resistance, and the 360 major one, Gears of War, and Gears wins hands down.
Plus that website out of the ancient time, doesn't work on either Firefox, nor the new IE. Dull website, dull article probably.
@ Smitty below me.
That's nonsense:
COD3 watch this link, move over the pics to see the difference between the versions
http://www.gamespot.com/fea...
The 360 version is much, much sharper, has much, much more detail. Look at the last picture also, the house in the distance.
The sharpness of the PS3 version reminded me of COD on the XBOX 1.
Plus: Xbox Scores First Round Knock Out of PS3
http://www.xbox365.com/news...
"Xbox is flat-out better both visually and mechanically," said H3's chief communications officer and world class gamer, Adrian "Hollywood" Walton. "When 'Fight Night' is played at its highest level with the highest possible resolution, everyone was able to see Xbox 360's superiority to PS3 as clear as can be on H3TV."
Dipset and H3 superstar Juelz Santana was just as emphatic in his breakdown of the "Fight Night" face-off: "H3TV completely exposed that PS3's High Definition picture doesn't come close to Xbox, at least for "Fight Night." Everyone that had the opportunity to compete on both consoles scored Xbox higher right across the board."
So I'm sorry for you but probably you need to put your glasses on! Go watch Resistance, look at the grass, close up stuff... You'll find it lacks sharpness and detail. It's like last gen on steroids. Even COD2 on the 360 kicks it ass as a launch title. It seems it's all because of the PS3 GPU that gives washed out colours and less detail then the 360 gives
@ unixphreak1911
with that link of 20% usage of the PS3...
You know that's marketingbullsh!t, right? Every console gets better games after some time, compared to the launch games.
Epic has said with Gears of War they used 40% of the 360's power. Gears actually looks double as good as Resistance which uses 20% of the PS3 so in the end they do about the same right?
Come on that's no logic sense. Don't eat all that marketingtalk and go watch how the games look, right here, right now.
Links given above
C'mon people how many more times does the 360 have to prove that its the better gaming console in terms of graphics.
You only need to look at the GPU for both consoles and you'll see which console has the better graphical power it doesnt take a genius to work it out.
In one corner you have a nextgen GPU with unified architecture and embedded ram and in the the other we have an out dated 7800GTX you do the math...
P.S why do we still not know the specs of the RSX c'mon sony what are you afraid of!!!!
is basically a freelance journalist. He's just a script reader, he has NO education in videogaming whatsoever. He appears in ads ranging from washing up powder to alchoholic beverages.
I wouldn't take him seriously.
for there even to be a debate, "which is better?" is bad news for the PS3. with all the so-called power it has, theoreticly, the PS3 SHOULD have blown the 360 out the water AGES ago?
