World of Warcraft: Night of the Dragon Review (worldofwar.net)

WorldofWar.net reviewed the pocket star book World of Warcraft: Night of the Dragon by Richard A. Knaak. This novel is a follow-up to the former Day of the Dragon.

The novel is a backstory that leads to the events of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (MMO). The Sunwell Plateau dungeon events have already happened in the story. Kalecgos the blue dragon (first boss in the Sunwell Plateau) is one of the characters in the novel and is infuriated by the loss of Anveena.

The novel reveals Malygos the Dragon Aspect of Magic has proposed to the other aspects at the Wyrmrest Temple (Dragonblight) to purge the world of Azeroth of any dangerous magic wielder. Setting the timeframe of this novel barely weeks before Wrath of the Lich King.

This review gives a good reason why the Grim Batol dungeon could be one possible candidate for a upcoming content patch. And the possible origin of the Infinite Dragonblight ailing Caverns of Time.
