Treyarch Studios brings us Call of Duty: World at War. Depending on who you talk to you will hear this game referred to as "Call of Duty 5" or "A Call of Duty 4 Mod". While the game is powered by the Call of Duty 4 engine and Treyarch took quite a few liberties with Infinity Ward's game, World at War improves on Call of Duty 4 and brings us one of the best World War II FPS games up to this point in gaming history.
The game takes you through some of the most tension filled battles of WWII from battles with the Japanese Army on the shores of the pacific to the Soviet resistance with a great touch on realism that fully uses the Infity Ward's Call of Duty engine. The weapons are well balanced and there is something to fit all playing types from sniping to up and close with a trench gun.
