Splinter Cell Voice Actor Shot By Terrorists

Canadian actor and videogame voice specialist Michael Rudder was among the casualties in the terrorist attacks in Mumbai yesterday.

The actor was dining at the Oberoi Hotel in Mumbai when militants opened fire. Rudder was hit by three bullets and rushed to hospital where he successfully underwent surgery and is expected to make a full recovery.

The story is too old to be commented.

TheCagyDies3523d ago (Edited 3523d ago )

didn't voice Sam Fisher, that was Ironside...

EDIT: Michael Rudder (The person who got shot and lived) played a very very minor role in the game...

CrippleH3523d ago

He's not dead. He's injured.

Bnet3433523d ago

The comments on Kotaku are funny. I never realized people associated the word "casualty" with dead. I could use the term in many instances and in no way mean "dead" here's an example : "Many 360 gamers are casualties of RROD" lol

mintaro3523d ago

Shut up and gtfo, in no way should this be taken lightly.

ultimolu3523d ago

...That's low, even for you.

IzKyD13313523d ago

Casualty doesn't mean death, but it includes it, and in this day and age with the war and all, it's used quite often......but you prove that any article can be turned into a fanboy war

elorm93523d ago

It's very unfortunate that this guy was involved in the whole Mumbai shooting...

R.I.P Michael Rudder

Bathyj3523d ago

Lets not bury him yet, hes not dead.

BBCnewsrocks3523d ago

but it's sad to see innocent people get caught up in these attacks.

IzKyD13313523d ago (Edited 3523d ago )

atleast he was considerate enough to show respect

elorm93523d ago

To be honest, I didn't really read the article. :P

MrWeymes3523d ago

lol, People put hard work in to these articles. You could atleast read the paragraph on N4G. Anyway, it's a shame the man was shot. It's a blessing that he wasn't killed.

Fck terrorists.
And fck religion (which breeds most terrorists).

OK, let's just say that differences in beliefs are what cause this, most of the time.
Some would call those beliefs religion.

003523d ago

It's the crazy people that follow it.

EastCoastSB3523d ago

Religious fanatics, there is a HUGE difference.

Raptura3523d ago

Let's not eff religion, but let's tone down our beliefs and keep them to ourselves.

it's people like you that leads to *facepalm*

Sony Rep3523d ago

Who said it was about religion? Just because they are terrorist?

I heard it was about territory.

KidMakeshift3523d ago

If everyone just worshipped me instead then we wouldn't have these problems
