See how the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of Tomb Raider: Underworld compare.

The only thing good on both platforms is her ass. Damn, they are pretty.
The difference isn't nearly as big as DeadSpace, in which PS3 did some whooping! In the end, it all comes down to which console was the lead platform in development, not which one can produce the better looking version.
Why showing it in half the resolution? Show me the good stuff!
I can see that song being put in a funny cartoon
http://www.n4g.com/News-235... PS3 FTW
They both look like crap compared to the PC demo.
@ Morganfell: Reread the article, "We have tracked down exactly what causes the graphical glitch in the Xbox 360 version of Tomb Raider Underworld. And guess what? It is also in the PlayStation 3. Check out how to recreate the bug here."
Elven, read the rest of the article. Both versions have the glitch, but the PS3 still wins graphically. The glitch alone didn't put the PS3 version on top. it was several other factors. Like many, I read the article before hand. And Lens of truth were not the only ones to think so. The glitch in the 360 version doesn't account for the lack of textures, shadowing properly, or environmental effects missing.
wow the 360 version looks horrible..... just kiddin felt like being a fanboy 4 a minute....but they both look the same to me.....either way im not buying this game...
I picked it up. The issue I have so far is the bouncy, make that jittery camera that is in both versions. You don't notice it until Laura is jumping in certain instances, such as up to higher platforms and ledges.
Uncharted, please. I'll take that any day of the week over this.
i think that is what everyone who played uncharted is thinking whenever anyone brings up Tombraider
Kinda tired of seeing these comparisons... As long as the gameplay works without the bugs, it's all good in my book Btw, seems like the Xbox 360 version looks better. The PS3 version looks kinda washed out
Its funny how people always say how bored of these comparisons they are, yet cant help but leave a parting remark on which one they like better. Well, I think its funny. ;)
Wow, one version of this game that I wont buy has slight differences to another version of this game that I wont buy. Talk about interesting.
I know, right. Talk about a snore comparison. Who cares on the 360 vs Who cares on the PS3. Heck, might as well throw in the Wii version for this one. 12
They look the same. Buy the game if it fancies you.
Her boobies in both versions are indistinguishable
were they not bigger in her previous games
Both seem to have the same textures. It's a matter of contrast and brightness. 360 looks better in bright areas but not in dark areas(way too dark). PS3 looks better in darker areas and not in bright. Either way you could get each system to look like the other by just adjusting your brightness and contrast. Too much brightness washed out colors, too little brightness more vibrant colors but darker.
After seeing these gratuitous shot of Laura's buttocks, I just might go rent this game....
I wonder why XBox owners are quick to say "360 version looks better!" when less than a week ago they were ranting and raving about how "gameplay is more important than graphics" in defense of Left 4 Dead's sup-par appearance. Hmmmm.
Gameplay is more important to most than graphics. But that still doesn't change the fact the 360 version looks better.
Crab...THEY BOTH LOOK THE SAME! Good God, you 360 fans need some fresh air once in a while. Goodness gracious, if you like the 360 version, get the 360 version. If you like the PS3 version, get that!
Lol, at the beginning with the fire, it looks like she's doing Thriller....
Glad to know that TR is selling best on the PS3, afterall it is an established Playstation game :) Looks best on PS3 imo, PS3 is a tad sharper, Just like with james bond, actualy james bond is a massive difference
gee, I thought Tomb Raider was an established playstation turd like Spyro the Retarded Dragon. Sure they both did wonders with their first installments but then went straight to the dump. Go back and enjoy Uncharted. Unless you want some buttocks.
Drake's ass is so much nicer than Lara's
Wow this site is [email protected] Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering Buffering
how do you buffer agile buttocks?
I agree! I got bored waiting for the freaking advertisement to buffer.
It's not even worth it.
Better shadows, lighting and AA...(less jaggies)
I will say the PS3 version looks the best. With the power of the cell,RSX and blu-ray the PS3 dominates. In the real world I will say that they look the same.
"the power of the cell" my @ss. I bet Eidos didn't give two facks about that. They just want to whore Lara's buttocks for your money.
crisper but they look like the same
and it's pointless to argue. In the end, they look about the same. Washed-out this, resolution that...in the end, they're the same. Wanna do comparisons? How about the fact that Fallout 3 runs like ass on PS3 COMPARED to 360 and PC. The Orange Box too. In the PS3's multiplatform defense, it owned w/ Dead Space. In situations like that, fine, compare. This? About as necessary as that comparison vid for Far Cry 2. LOOK EXACTLY THE SAME.
Fallout3, Orange Box ? Yeah, sure. Because they said so...guess you can confirm after you've beaten them both on both the 360 and PS3 (and the PC). Nice try, though.
PS3 but only because I like how it handles lighting better, 360 is just different. Same textures and AA by the looks of it.
by any means in comparison...but the xbox and ps3 tomb raider look identical...
Only thing i noticed are her boobs are bigger on ps3.
No rowsand. One of her boobs was bigger then the other.
Looks exactly the same. What an ass on her, jeezus!
