If you cover sh!t w/ syrup, it doesn`t make them pancakes.

Panthers5630d ago

I heard this game was really fun.

Danja5630d ago

The movie was great , the game uhh...not really..

The PS3 has better textures....

SL1M DADDY5630d ago

No, not even syrup can help. It goes along with the age old saying, "you can't polish a turd".

the textures on the ps3 is def better.. just look at the moutians.

InMyOpinion5630d ago (Edited 5630d ago )

That's because the PS3 version lacks depth of field. The PS3 version has more v-sync issues and jaggies(also clearly visible at the beginning and at 0:31).

At 1:03 you'll notice that the 360 displays particle effects when helicopter fire hits the wall, the PS3 doesn't.

At 1:35 you don't need eagle vision to see that the lighting and weather effects look much better on the 360. The PS3 version is more or less pitch black.

gambare5630d ago

I played both versions Jenzo, and both versions got different graphical issues and the game itself is awful.

thewhoopimen5630d ago (Edited 5630d ago )

Jenzo you call that depth of field? Where does your supposed depth of field shift focus from foreground to background or vice versa? Lets see... never. Look at the video of the enemy falling on the last video... i don't see a depth of field shift when he hits the ground... do you? I don't! The ground is still blurry! I call that background... vaseline effect and its prevalent throughout the video. It is a blur not a depth of field.

PirateThom5630d ago (Edited 5630d ago )

It's kind of a mess on both consoles.

Actually.

Even though this was lead on 360, PS3 wins by a mile.

Seriously, what the hell Treyarch?

theEnemy5630d ago

Err now that was just plain BS by Treyarch.

The 360 part is like been blurred to death.

ChileanBoy5630d ago

yea when i looked at that last part ps3 wins, but overall they look almost exactly the same.

ps3 will eventually win on all of them. once the companies get more used to the newer technology

Xi5630d ago

what "newer" technology?

It doesn't even have unified shader technology.

LeonSKennedy4Life5630d ago

"unified shader technology"

You're aware that "unified shader technology" is a made-up phrase, correct?

Panthers5630d ago

I love when clueless people try to sound like they know what they are talking about.

heroicjanitor5630d ago (Edited 5630d ago )

The 360 actually has it but nvidia themelves have said it is pretty poor and most people don't want to use it for certain calculations and end up using the cpu instead... He only mentioned it because as the saying goes "if you can't blind them with brilliance confuse them with jargon" or something along those lines..

LeonSKennedy4Life5630d ago (Edited 5630d ago )

It is fake. Anti-aliasing would be a good term to replace it though.

The PS3 is more than capable of shading properly. If you've seen Killzone 2 in action, you'll know what I mean. The Cell is able to calculate anything you can throw at it. Why rely on RAM when you have processing power not seen by any PC retailing for under four-thousand dollars?

thewhoopimen5630d ago (Edited 5630d ago )

haha... unified shader technology. When has it been ever been an educated move to throw out marketing fudge jargon as real "tech". Check out my iAutoSync podcal superfrump texturizers!~ It Pwns all cuz of it's cool name.

Where Have All the Bond Games Gone?

Everyone’s been thinking about James Bond lately, with the franchise’s latest cinematic release tantalisingly close yet pushed back by the pandemic. It serves as a reminder of the wider obstacles faced by this particular franchise—one that can be nimble, competitive, and invigorating—but yet is a behemoth always struggling against the weight of its reputation in a changing creative landscape. The video games inspired by these films are a particular testament to those difficulties, considering their trajectory: an early enormous success in GoldenEye, through weakly received adaptations and original stories, to a near-decade of non-existence.

I paid a few quid for a copy and I enjoyed it.

Articuno763644d ago

You should try Blood Stone if you haven't already. It's going for the same price as Quantum but I reckon it's a better game all round.

jontrueno3643d ago

I actually enjoyed the game. The scenery was really good and varied. It wasnt the best shooter ever, but it was certainly worth playing if you like the bond franchise at all. Bloodstone was good to, just different.
