Question is, will this feature top-down or over-the-shoulder perspective?

MadLad1387d ago

Very interesting.
The Council was pretty good.

Tross1386d ago

Yeah, I had my share of problems with it but I enjoyed it overall. A game that plays like that but with some minor improvements here and there could be excellent.

Xack1386d ago

Loved The Council. Hopefully this is just as good

AK911386d ago

I hope a dev can do a remaster/remake of the first Bloodlines, it was phenomenal but to be able to play and enjoy it on consoles would be amazing.

MadLad1386d ago (Edited 1386d ago )

It might happen if the new game does well. Bloodlines is looked at as a cult classic at this point. A game whose content wasn't done justice by its release and sales.
I think a re-release, across all platforms, would be huge.
If there's a game deserving of a remake, it's the original Bloodlines.

New PS5 bundle sends Horizon Forbidden West back to No.1 | UK Boxed Charts

Horizon Forbidden West is back at No.1 in the UK boxed charts, three months after it was first released.

The game's sales rose 94% week-on-week following the release of a new official PS5 hardware bundle. That means Nintendo Switch Sports is down to No.2 after three weeks at No.1. The Switch exclusive saw physical sales drop 37% week-on-week.

Wonderful game, completely met, and exceeded, my very high expectations, hoping for some DLC like the Frozen Wilds.

Aloymetal703d ago

You know the dlc is a mandatory and new game plus as well.👍

ClayRules2012703d ago

Oh, most definitely happening. I can’t wait 👍🏻

New game+ With all my upgrades etc, bring on any robotic dinosaur while I’m out in the forbidden west, I’ll strike em down like a beast. Oh, who am I kidding, I’ll get my kicked haha. I say that, while playing on a harder difficulty and I’ll just DIE😂

purple101703d ago

How is it no1. Boxed. When this bundle included the ps5 and a code for download of horizon. (I think)

Atom666703d ago

"Boxed" means sold at retail. Same reason Mario Kart 8 shot up during black friday.

Codes sold at retail (including in console bundles) count in the retail "boxed" , not the digital charts.

SullysCigar702d ago (Edited 702d ago )

That's an interesting info-nugget. Didn't realise that was the case, but seems obvious now lol

Knushwood Butt703d ago

The download code comes in a .box,

MoonConquistador703d ago

Lol, the things you need to explain nowadays eh

It needs a bundle to be included otherwise the game will be overlook, poeple are buying it because it's a chance to get a ps5...the game is a gift.

Silly gameAr703d ago

Well, it's good that the game is getting a second life. It came out the same time as Elden Ring, now that the hype from Elden Ring has died down, people can pick up HFW that missed it the first time. If you get the game with a PS5, that's a win win if you ask me.

Gianoni33702d ago

Dont worry. Soon ER will have some discount and DLC announcement and the game come back to top

StarkR3ality702d ago

Prefer Forbidden west tbh, I like Elden Ring, I just think when you're working full time and just want to sit down and enjoy a game, sometimes Soulsbourne games aren't ideal after finishing a 45 hour week 😂

Charlieboy333702d ago

Don't worry, as PS5's get restocked HFW will continue to chart.....same as Spider-Man MM. It will have long legs......the original HZD also had the same issue due to Breath of the Wild's shadow and went on to great success.

EvertonFC702d ago

Exactly also GT7 has always sold throughout the generation.
Gamers on here would have you think these games hit the 10/20million mark in its first year.
Add to that the stock shortages of the consoles and GT7, HFW, SMM etc will all remain in the charts for a long time imo.

It pains them to see any success being had by Sony. Why? Because the world should be centered around their dislikes.

Sonys a great company for gaming, music, movies, entertainment and electronics. Microsoft is great for OS development. Nintendo keeps nostalgia alive like none other.

You see, there are things each company is good at but not in every category. Choosing either means there will be sacrifices made found in the others. It makes no sense to continue bashing Sony because they are doing what they've always been known for doing. Hoping one will magically have what the other has is ignoring what makes each of them uniquely different from the others.

DefaultComment702d ago

What makes you think I'm basjing on Sony's success? I'm just placing facts dude. Horizon Forbbiden West was cast into the shadows the moment Elden Ring came. ALso let¿s not forget the feedback that game had....the whole tesious sidequest and the over excesive dialoge

SurgicalMenace702d ago

Perhaps for you, but you are not the voice for all. Individuals like yourself that make bold assertions as though they have a universal view are becoming a cancer in the community. Prove that everyone, outside of yourself, turned a blind eye to Horizon because of Elden Ring's release? You can't, so why make the claim? Speaking on what you think is not fact....

Let's look at Elden's lack of narrative as an alternative to Horizon building a real storyline. Speaking of tedious endeavors, how many hours were spent on horseback needlessly traveling across the empty world of Elden? Reminds me of BotW.

DefaultComment701d ago

When did I claimed that I speak for everyone? You are assuming it because ....reasons. But you know what speaks for the people? Sales Numbers.... Elden RIng like in 2 months like 14 million units(maybe more by now) ...how may units have Horizon sold??.....yeah i don't think it made expected results since Sony didn't even bother announcing their number sales for the super star for 2022.

So as you can see I dont represent the whole community but I'm a sample of what the majority of people think/feel about it.

Truth hurts but you gotta take it like a man.

SurgicalMenace701d ago

Uuum....What numbers do you have to support you knowing the functions of the mind? Who knows the reason why they didn't buy Horizon was because of Elden Ring? Prove, with written correspondence from each person, that they purchased Elden Ring instead of Horizon?

Last I checked, only PS4/PS5 were privy to the option to purchase Horizon leaving XB and PC without the option. What's the sells breakdown of PS4/PS5 users, as the 14 million was not only limited to these platforms?

Sample: a portion drawn from a population, the study of which is intended to lead to statistical estimates of the attributes of the whole population.

What part of the whole population do you represent, because I, like many others, purchased both? Leaving no room for your argument.

Perhaps you represent the XB/PC community who only had the option to purchase Elden? This population has to be omitted due to the inability to participate.

Do you represent the population that needs to see Horizon fail because they didn't have the option to play it without a Sony platform? This ones the one for you, bud bud.

You may "think" Horizon failed in lue of Eldens release, but as the article stated, it is seeing increased stimulation from more PS5s being sold. It's only a matter of time, as it is inevitable for more PS5s to sell because it is currently the MOST sought after tech in the industry. Keep watching....😁

Review - Vampire The Masquerade: Swansong (PC) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Kyle Nicol: "Vampire The Masquerade: Swansong is a flawed game for sure, with some rough visuals and a gameplay loop that certainly won’t be for everyone. However if you are looking for a compelling vampire mystery and don’t mind quite a few annoyances that are usually present in modern AA games, then there is a lot to like about this flawed, but certainly captivating detective adventure.
