It was a dark and stormy night. Not in the game, but at Phoenix Games' house. The power was out on their street, the wind was screaming and rain fell down in sheets. With barely a candle to read by it occurred to them that this was a perfect time to fire up their DS and play the newest Avatar game.
They was pleasantly surprised.
Phoenix Games is not a big fan of the series and they normally could take or leave this sort of simplistic action/adventure title. Given that they had no electricity and a need to finish the game so that they could write this review, Phoenix Games put all their hope into having a good time with this title. And they did.
The game follows the plot of season 3 of the successful animated television series. In this installment, the Fire Nation devises a plot to use the power of Sozin's Comet to rain devastation on the rest of the world. The world's fate lies in the hands of a few young, brave heroes – Aang and his friends (or you, actually) – as they prepare for the showdown between Fire Lord Ozai and his army.
