Square-Go: Singstar: Singalong with Disney review

"The Disney version of Singstar was inevitable, especially so close to Christmas, and includes a range of songs from our favourite animated films aimed, presumably, at getting the whole family together. Unfortunately this title does not quite live up to the high expectations of the franchise these days. The songs range from 'Winnie The Pooh' to 'Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo' and include such favourites as The Lion King's 'Circle of Life.' However there is just something missing. Where are the other classics we might expect? The Little Mermaid's 'Part of your World' or Pocahontas's 'Colours of The Wind.' With so many classics missing it's easy to feel disappointed when selecting your songs and this is the main problem with Singstar Disney. In fact, where some Singstar titles have 30 song titles, Disney only has 20. Singing is not meant to be easy, that's why popstars are paid so much! Singstar Disney has, like its predecessors, a number of bars aimed at helping you aim your pitch.

As you might imagine with Disney songs this does not make it any easier. They are either too high or too low for most Average Joe singers and many contain reems of incoherant mumbo jumbo. There is a practice area to learn lyrics, although you will more than likely want to kill The Lion King by this point rather than sing it! All in all then a disappointing title which could have been so much more. Bibbidi Bobbidi BOO!"
