Yakuza 3 First Official Trailer Hits Japan's PSN
This game looks amazing! Sega seems to really know what their doing with PS3 architecture.Valkryia chronicles looks absolutely gorgeous (no install by the way) And Yakuza 3 is looking fantastic! Go Sega!
Best trailer I've seen this year. Holy god.. I really am starting to love Sega again. O_O Valkyria Chronicles is one of the best games I've played all year and Yakuza 3 looks f*cking incredible.
Just saw this trailer on PSN and I am now speechless.
...I want this game so bad. ;___;
MY thoughts exactlly
Really hope this game makes it to the OZ at some point. PLAY BEYOND NOT BEHIND
Cutting edge graphics and leaps in story based games...Where else but only on the PS3
I got goosebumps watching this on PSN. Trailer of the year.
time to go buy Yakuza 1 and 2 now.. this really has caught my attention, it has that Shenmue feel to it although its not shenmue.
and awesome graphics too
Unless Yu Suzuki comes back to make games instead of just being an adviser for Sega, I don't think they'll let people touch Shemu out of the respect to Yu Suzuki. It's a shame cuz Yu Suzuki's last works pretty much all flopped... (Shenmu Online and some arcade games that never got released)
hopefully sega brings this game out to the rest rather quick after its release in the east. for a game with that level of detail, it needs to be sent here to the west so that they make profit. they got to bring that Yakuza Prequel here first though.
GOD, I hope this game is gonna be release to the US.
THAT looked impressive. The amount of detail was breathtaking for a game of this type. The producer of the game said that he chose the PS3 for it's prowess. No doubt a 360 version would look very good, but this is his own opinion, not mine. Since I'm a fan of Japanese games I'm happy to see this coming only to the PS3. The exclusives are coming people, but of course only time will tell. I loved the Yakuza games on PS2 and it looks like Toshihiro Nagoshi is bringing the proverbial love to Japan's own HD console. Good things are coming. Oh, yes. They are coming (shameless Wayne's World reference). Yakuza Kenzan! and Yakuza 3 are already slated for release on the PS3 in North America. Look below for answers. http://www.1up.com/do/featu...
This looks great! I can't wait to play this game. But I saw a trailer that Yakuza 3 was set in the year 1605. Is that the same game? Or did they cancelled it?
no its not the same game, thats a Yakuza Prequel. that game is already out in Japan. The Real Yakuza 3 is the one you just watched here on n4g right now.
That was a spin off actually. THIS is Yakuza 3 and it will sell tons in Japan.
Sweet!!! Thanks for the answers. I was a little mad thinking that Yakuza 3 was set in that time. But now that I see that the story continues, is time to start playing my Yakuza 2 again.
Yakuza Kenzan!, the Samurai-era periodic game is planned for release in North America as well as Yakuza 3.
Looks awesome, enough said
Probably the best looking trailer along with kz2's imo
Insta buy considering I love the first two and I might as well import Kenzan now. Kaz's face still needs work though, it looks "off". Well it looks fatter and smushed a bit actually, I think it's the cheekbones that are off the most. He somewhat looks like the Kaz impersonator in Y2 now that I think about it. I was hoping they fixed that but oh well, the game still looks f*cking fantastic!!
From that image, it looks 'not'.
I never played any of the Yakuza game. Can anyone explain the plot or gameplay. What kind of game is it?
bada$$.. hope we get to cut heads off with a hattori hanzo sword.
What the, I thought this was a lame ass Samurai game, but this looks pretty damn good.
someone tell me if this is coming to the US! -I just made a happy accident watching the trailer
This game needs to retain it's original Japanese voice acting and include an English subtitle option. It's just not the same with the poor quality US voice English dub.
i love the trailer but when do it come out....?
