Top 10 PlayStation Exclusives in the Last Decade

COGconnected: In the last decade, PlayStation has set a high bar for its exclusives whether first-party developed or otherwise. From the PS3 and especially to the PS4, these exclusives have just about become a part of the PlayStation brand's identity.

The Order 1886 and Days Gone are not worthy of the top 10, let alone above genuinely great games like God Of War, Horizon, Bloodborne and R&C. There's also loads of better PS3 exclusives like Resistance 3, Infamous 2, Killzone 3, God Of War 3, Journey, etc. All I can [respectfully] say to your list is, "WTF?"

It's my personal tastes bro. Some games clicked with me more than others, but that doesn't make those other games bad :) and I didn't own a PS3

I mean for example, I wouldn't put Death Stranding anywhere near the top ten (especially as it's technically not even a PS game but a timed exclusive) but he would.

I just got to play it recently and, outside of the werewolf segments, I thought 1886 was fantastic.

The Order 1886 was a nice production though, and one worthy of playing, imo. Yeah, it was standard cover shooting, but the weapons were satisfying (that Triple Crown Shotgun) and the story was good. Yeah, it could have been better, but it was a nice playthrough.

Days Gone was pretty bland, but it was OK.

God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Bloodborne were excellent, as was Death Stranding. But it's all just opinion.

It's the reason I traded in my Xbox one. I went with PC/PS4 this generation. I'm not saying Xbox one is a bad console its just not for me this generation especially since gamepass is on PC as well

Persona 5, The Last Guardian, Bloodborne, Dreams and Death Stranding are easy peasy picks for me. I'd also add Sound Shapes, Resistance 2, God of War, Spiderman and Detroit Become Human.

I believe the AI driving the vehicles have become human and live in my ps3 500gb. They know exactly when and how to gang bang me.

Imagine choosing GoW4 over GoW3 (that is way brutal, is more consistent to the story, has way more opponents and bosses, more weapons, is more epic, basically is the essence of the franchise).

Considering that so many people think the same, the problem isn't with GoW3 but with the amount of normies/casuals these days who hype everything up to make it seem better than it actually is, and the fact that a decent amount of them didn't play the prequels. Each of my bros and me played through the franchise and agreed that GoW3 is the best and that the newest one has a lot of boring moments. The one that was the biggest fanboy of the franchise couldn't even finish it, in fact.

Yea i'm sure neither of us are alone in our opinions on which one is best and neither of us are right or wrong - we just like different things. Completely opposite to your mate I couldn't finish GOW3.

I think its a little unfair to blame the hype of the reboot on casual gamers, it was hyped up by Sony like all of their big money exclusives are and being more cinematic than the earlier iterations, along with using newer hardware capable of better visuals may have caught the attention of a different crowd of gamers - like me in fact!

I never played the first 2 and only bought GOW3 on PS4 after seeing the first trailer for GOW4 at E3 to see if i would like it - unfortunately i didn't. If that makes me a "casual" in your opinion then so be it but my first gaming platform was Acorn Electron and have been playing ever since.
