The weekly playtest is one of the first traditions established at Riot games; it's an enjoyable break in the hectic work schedules and a tremendously useful tool in the design and development of League of Legends. Each Friday at 5 P.M. (here on the West coast), the entire Riot Games staff divides into teams and participates in a boisterous game of League of Legends.
