DEN: Dead Space Review

DEN: "One of the first things you'll notice about Dead Space is that it never lets you relax. There is always the sound of slithering and screaming in the background. Picking up on the cue from Bioshock that finding artifacts of the story is far more immersive than simple text, you hardly ever pull back from the environment. It was something that impressed me early on with the title, much of the design is spent making sure that your time is spent playing, and even item management is done through a HUD not a pause menu."
