Blizzard COO: We're not milking StarCraft 2

Blizzard has categorically denied it is 'milking' the StarCraft franchise by deciding to release StarCraft II in three separate products.

Speaking to this afternoon in London prior to the midnight launch of World of Warcraft expansion Wrath of the Lich King, Paul Sams, chief operating officer, Blizzard Entertainment, gave his word that the decision was about providing a better experience, and not about making more money.

Exactly! Are they allowing us to play all the factions or are we stuck with just one faction???

Also, if they're going for a trilogy they better add more units after each game. They better not screw us over. I've been waiting for this game the longest with Diablo 3.

Its not like they need the money. They make the entire cost it has taken to run WoW in a single month, every month. I mean basically they are getting around $200 Mil in profit every month. Not to mention Lich King coming out now.

It's been 10 years since the original. A sequel 11 years later with an extra expansion is NOT milking. Madden is milking.
