GameSpy writes: "Last year, Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare was quickly hailed as an instant classic and one of the finest examples of the first-person shooter genre. Everyone figured that it would be a while before we saw another Call of Duty title, but it was only a matter of week before Call of Duty: World at War was announced on a conference call for Activision investors. However, when it was announced that Treyarch (developers of every non-Infinity Ward CoD game) would be heading up the development duties, fans of CoD4 began fretting over what horrible fate would befall their beloved franchise. Thankfully, although World at War isn't as good as Infinity Ward's masterpiece, it's still a great game worthy of any FPS fan's attention."
+Same intense action you know and love
+Impressive visuals and lighting
+Cooperative adds a ton of replay value
+Multiplayer still excellent
-Storyline is weak
-Flamethrower is tough to use on tougher difficulties
-Enemy AI can be absent-minded
