Good games aren't just at retail

Gerard Campbell writes:

"As part of research into a story I'm doing for The Press's The Box on a Christchurch game development company, Trickysheep, that is doing big things in the web-based gaming space, I played the company's game Anika's Odyssey, a simple point-and-click adventure made with Flash. I recommend you give it a play.

There are hundreds - no, make that thousands - of small game development companies toiling away doing excellent stuff on the web, but many of them will go unnoticed by the average gamer."

The story is too old to be commented.
