Ubisoft Loses Rights to Heroes Video Game

Back in July of 2007, Ubisoft announced that it would be publishing a video game based on the popular TV series Heroes. However, the publisher today announced that it will no longer be doing so.

"The rights to the 'Heroes' video game have reverted back to NBC Universal. Ubisoft will no longer produce a video game based on the TV series," said Ubisoft Public Relations Director Jaime Cottini.

The story is too old to be commented.

There wasn't a new episode this week.

First season was good. Second season slowed down, but was watchable. Third season has been horrible. Killing off good characters, ruining established ones, and no real plot to speak of except for a rival company. (Ooo... scary) With two executive producers being fired last week and a 4 million dollar per episode budget, I don't see it lasting much longer.

good...

the LOST game was only good enough for die hard LOST fans (like me) but the gameplay, the world, the voice acting was terrible.. i would never recommend that game to anyone other than a real LOST fan. The story and ending was at least decent.

so hopefully someone who doesnt just want to milk a franchise will reboot LOST and pick up Heroes.
