Screen Play: "South Australian Attorney-General Michael Atkinson might be trying to censor the censorship debate, but Australian gamers like regular Screen Play contributor Blackwell have been very active this year campaigning their leaders about the introduction of a long-overdue R18+ games classification.

Fresh from penning his "Gamer's Bill of Rights", Blackwell today describes how he has got politically involved this year.

It's a reminder that even if Mr Atkinson succeeds in blocking the release of a discussion paper and the subsequent public consultation process that would follow, gamers passionate about the issue can continue to try to educate our politicians on why games matter so much to so many people and why our classification system needs an overhaul."
