Seven years after its initial release in Japan, the rest of the world can finally experience the one Corpse Party title that was elusive to most of us for so long. Sweet Sachiko's Hysteric Birthday Bash is different yet familiar, bringing back all that's made Corpse Party so great for decades, but this time with the stipulation that we must do a romantic comedy or die.

The vile child spirit that haunts this school grounds has decided to task all the poor souls she's captured with putting on a romantic comedy for her amusement. You go through different chapters, making choices to try and get to the clear end to progress to the final chapter. While these kinds of series usually should be played in order, you aren't really missing anything if you skip this game."
The Corpse Party series is one with a massive cast. Considering the original game, sequels and spin-offs, there are lots of characters people might want to root for. However, there is one person who can often stand out: Yoshiki Kishinuma. This member of the supporting cast has the distinction of being a survivor and recurring hero who starts out as just another person, but goes on to become one of the most important and prominent people there. As a result, people might find themselves constantly rooting for him and realizing all the good he does.
