Empire Online Gears of War 2 Review
Like the original GOW, though, the game's greatest thrills are to be found online. New competitive and co-operative multiplayer challenges, and a variety of fresh battlegrounds, are only the beginning of GOW2's communal treats, the most frantic being the new Horde option where you're attacked by an ever-growing extraterrestrial army, ramping up the challenge until your head is spinning and trigger finger stiff as enemies swarm in from all corners of the screen.
Outrageous gore and crisp visuals also help make GOW2 a bewitching blaster; and while series aficionados may feel as if they've seen it all before, the chance to cave-in enemy skulls with your bare knuckles and multiplayer challenges you'll play for months make this the perfect Christmas companion, and an experience that won't grow old as you yomp into 2009.

VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "Upon finally finishing Devil May Cry 5 recently - after it spent several years on my “I’ll play that soon” list - I considered giving it a fittingly-named Late Look article. However, considering that this was indeed the final piece I was missing in the DMC puzzle, I decided to instead take this opportunity to take a look back at the entirety of this genre-defining series and rank the entries. What also made this a particularly tempting notion was that while most high-profile series have developed fairly evenly over time, with a few bumps on the road, the history of Devil May Cry has, at least in my eyes, been an absolute roller coaster, with everything from total disasters to action game gold."
Activision and Raven Software's 2006 action role-playing game, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, has found its way to the Xbox Store.
Used to love this one, but X-Men Legends 1 and 2 will always be my favorites, especially Rise of Apocalypse. Would pay some good money to play it today with online multiplayer, back then I had no way to get a modem
I remember buying them dirt cheap on the PS4 and then a few days later I read they were delisted. I was wondering why the bundle was price so low and got my answer when that happened.
Sad to say this is one game franchise next to the Xmen that needs a sequel. I use to play the hell out of Xmen Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance. Was great when my cousin had the OG Xbox play with four other people and then playing online. Great games glad to see it reappear even though I own the discs love the mechanics of this game.
Misleading. This page is whats available for people who owned the game prior to delisting.
Plenty of unforgettable games have completely messed up their players throughout the years, all the way back from the PS1 days to the dark recesses of the modern internet.
I guess someone wasnt told about the embargo lol
Great to see another perfect score, expecting a lot more on monday
Defiantly shooter of the year and i got a feeling it will be GOTY from a lot of sites as well
Less than a week to go now!!!
Just the beginning of the floodgates to be opened and watch the perfect scores burst through.
It's great that EMPIRE gave the game a 5 STAR....
But I am a bit concerned about the review because anybody who gives STAR WARS: FORCE UNLEASHED 5 STARS is a wacky sackboy!
Sasuke looks hot. M/37/NY ...Call me.
It sounds like jumped right back into Resistance 2 after finishing Gears of War 2
