DSOGaming writes: "It appears that it has been a confusion lately as to what engine the latest Mortal Kombat game, Mortal Kombat 11, uses. While we knew that the game was based on a custom Unreal Engine 3 version, some people thought that the game would be using Unreal Engine 4. As such, NetherRealm Studios Programming Lead Jon Greenberg has shed some light on what exactly is going on here."
A Mortal Kombat 11 Easter egg has finally been found years after it was originally teased by the senior designer who put it in.
The Humble Melee Mayhem Bundle just launched recently. It includes ten items including Mortal Kombat 11, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, Chivalry 2, and more.
From VGC: "Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon says the announcement of his studio’s next fighting game will have to wait until 30th aniversary celebrations are over.
Boon explained on Twitter that while he understood fans were anxious to hear about the next NetherRealm Studios game announcement, the studio would be focusing on the 30th anniversary of Mortal Kombat first."
Guess this means there's going to be some sort of rerelease, maybe a remake of Mortal Kombat Trilogy
I’d love it if they had the original actors recreate the animation captures from the original so they can reskin the game with mOLDer Kombat.
I'm gonna laugh my ass off when Ubisoft would still be using UE2.5 for Splinter Cell.
by mobile version though, does that mean the Switch is powered by UE4 then? pretty impressive though that they can make a game with such fidelity on UE3 though
I'm impressed to see Unreal Engine 3 still have support a decade and a half after its first screenshots reveal in 2004. This also makes it the 4th UE3 game on the Switch, makes me wonder if Epic should just port an official version over to the Switch and not let all these developers try to get a working version running.
So pretty much the same as their previous game Injustice 2
