Nintendo has released a new 2.3.0 update for Tetris 99 and has since shared the official patch notes.
The 26th Tetris 99 Maximus Cup will be arriving on October 29, just in time for Halloween weekend and bringing a little extra zing for the occasion. This time around Tetris enthusiasts will be enjoying a Metroid Dread-themed Maximus Cup.

I love it! Took a screen capture of my #5. I've been able to finish Top 20 multiple times, Top 10 only once and finished #5. Still buzzing about it. Soon as you hit Top 10, only the best could ever survive. But it is fun though!!! I will always give congrats to the #1 player. Respect. :)
Such a simple yet addicting concept. I wonder what other franchises could have this concept that's not a microtransaction mess.
