Apex Legends, the free-to-play Battle Royale by Titanfall developers Respawn Entertainment, was just launched and its already the most viewed game on Twitch.

Don't let the article fool you, I thought it was very impressive at first, until I saw the #1 guy being viewed streaming it was a paid partner for the game (He's a big Twitch streamer) and then most of the other top ones were as well. That #1 spot was paid for, it didn't just happen because the game is that good, although honestly to me it actually does look pretty good.

I downloaded this game with zero expectations, but I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. I could find matches right away, the shooting is on point. The classes keep things varied and the pinging system maintains communication constant even with no headset. I genuinely want to see how well this game does.

Resident Evil 2 was a highly anticipated triple A game. Apex on the other hand was kept on the down low till just last month, considering it got no publicity is pretty good

Twitch is where people go to see about games nowadays. Or YouTube. New games are going to get watched. I don't really think it's newsworthy, particularly since there are too many sponsored streams on both platforms which can easily skew the numbers.

I Never jumped on Fortnite and I recently just tried Warframe which is pretty good..so far. Hopefully this game will be as good as it looks. Downloading now :)

How can anyone honestly say this is good? I've spent the first 10 minutes running around doing absolutely nothing before just letting myself die. How do you go from making something as fast paced as Titanfall to an uninspiring BR game? At least if they made a Titanfall BR game it could've been kinda hectic, but this is just more of the same.
