The word entitlement has been thrown around for years. Is it time gamers accept that some do feel they deserve too much?
from paulsemel.com: In this exclusive Q&A, the writer of the lore in this official "Diablo" cookbook discusses how he came to co-author this book.
Today Blizzard Entertainment had plenty of news to share about Diablo IV and its cousin Diablo Immortal, including details of the former's Season 1.
I might last four seasons as I'm just waiting to run through the game with each class. I'm not sure I'll even last that, but I see no reason to go further unless they have plans to truly expand the game beyond that and maybe add a story that actually has some sort of definitive ending rather than dangling the carrot we're currently following.

New Diablo Immortal Class: Blood Knight on July 13th. Very Castlevania-esque class.
Being vocal does not mean being entitled. Are you being "entitled" by shaking your finger at gamers for expressing their opinion?
"How dare Blizzard not make the exact game they wanted?"
lol.....right, we should all pretend to be full of joy about Diablo Immortal then? Are you kidding? Guess what? Activision Blizzard is a multi-billion dollar operation. Cry me a river if I hurt their feelings, but I think these guys get enough of gamer's dollars to handle criticism. That is not being entitled. That is being truthful.
"But, since it’s on mobile, I guess those aren’t real gamers anyway?"
You missed the point. You think Blizzcon is a gathering of mobile gamers?
Guess again:

No. Blizzcon was not the place for that announcement. Blizzard clearly has lost touch with who its fanbase is. That is certain. Should we let them know or just shut the hell up and be "adorable"?
Pretty much every mobile game is set up to do one thing, nickle and dime you. It's not entitled to be disappointed at news of something like this, especially when you have those idiots on stage trying to make it out be this super amazing game we should all love. In his head, he is thinking "I'm making right fools of these mugs"........but it backfired, MASSIVELY.
Maybe, just maybe, gamers have had enough of the games industry treating them like nothing more than cash machines.
Could games journalists kindly f*** off already? If anyone is "entitled", it's them expecting to receive games, DLC, boosters, etc early and requesting codes for friends (e.g. KindaFunny). This is projection. Calling gamers entitled over this issue is as moronic as saying that game critics were just being entitled when Bethesda stopped giving them early copies of their games.
It's bad enough hearing journalists push the idea the video-games couldn't exist without micro-transactons - without a shred of evidence I'll add. Pro-corporate sellouts.
Are you saying that customers are entitled because they are asking this company to make a product that they want to spend money on?
Completely ignorant article. I buy products based on what I like. I may have a history of buying the same products because they continue to offer what I like. If a company decides to destroy the product to reel in people who never cared and cast me aside then I won't continue to support them. Doesn't make me entitled at all. Gotta love these authors and publishers acting like they're entitled to shaming long time customers like they have a clue.
