Media Create Sales - Pokemon: Let's Go open at 661,240 retail sales (11/12/18 – 11/18/18)

Pokemon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokemon: Let’s Go, Eevee! sold a combined total of 661,240 units at retail within their first three days of release, the latest Media Create sales figures reveal.

Also new last week, the PlayStation 4 version of Fallout 76 launched at 73,489 retail sales, Hitman 2 at 10,162 sales, and Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs: Steam Dungeon at 5,025 sales.

The console ports of RPG Maker MV also launched at 2,641 retail sales on Switch and 2,090 sales on PlayStation 4.

On the hardware side, Switch sold 200,850 units, the PlayStation 4 family sold 17,789 units, and the 3DS family sold 6,599 units.

Imagine having the AAA 3rd party Japanse market to yourself (well the major titles at least), and Nintendo still shines somehow. People at the NPD sales article are like: "Wow Nintendo can't even beat a 5 year old console, lol!" Well there are plenty reasons for that.

RDR2, and Call of Duty 4 are software mammoths that are not on Switch. Spiderman is a huge franchise, which Sony has the exclusive rights to. PS4 has been on the market longer so price drops undercutting the Switch's main retail price, is a normalized trend.

Really interesting times ahead.

and as amazing as those games are, in 3 days in Japan this pokemon game sold double the number of copies that Spiderman has done and even more than double when compared to RDR2.
