so looking forward to this one. didn‘t read the article. a random dude on the internet didn‘t like it because it was not arcadey enough and probably bevause it got no fps view with a gun. that‘s none of my business. therefore no click revenue provided from my side ;-)

I want to play it too, but he did say that he felt that playtime affected the RPG elements, which I'm not sure what t means, but I really enjoy the table top roll playing game and I hope it has influenced the game in a big way.

@William_Cade the short playtime just made it feel more constricted than most role-playing games. The full campaign is about ten hours spread across just over a dozen chapters, which leaves very little room for genre conventions like in-depth character development and exploration. To that end I felt Cyanide’s decision to bill the game an RPG came off as a bit misleading. It’s as much an RPG as a Tex Murphy adventure is.

Disappointed to see Bloodborne not on the list.

Eidolon1289d ago (Edited 1289d ago )

It was the one game I loved that I know is Lovecraftian. 4/5 of these games are heavily Story driven/Interactive which might not cater to a majority of gamers.

Never heard of Conarium and Moons of Madness. Added them to my wishlist for a future sale.

I always think of bloodborne as a good Halloween lovecraftian game.
