1UP: Master of the Monster Lair Review

The game's not terribly taxing unless you choose to make it so: In order to fight multiple enemies at once, you actually have to carefully position spawn points so that they'll simultaneously converge on your hero. This laissez-faire approach to difficulty, coupled with a bizarre cooking-based level-up system that lets you whip up permanent stat bonuses to your heart's content, makes for a lightweight, oddly endearing adventure that's recommended for younger players. (Master of the Monster Lair, Nintendo DS) B-/A+
