Real-time strategy games generally fare poorly when saddled with gamepad controls, but our experiences with the console releases of Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath both were decidedly underwhelming, largely due to – what else? – control issues. Well, after a brief demo and a hands-on runthrough of a mission – albeit at a crowded preview event with the difficulty set to easy – we're happy to say that EA has been listening and addressed at least some of our (and others') biggest issues for their upcoming Xbox 360 release of Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3."
