BioWare seems to be pulling out all the stops with their upcoming IP, with Anthem looking like a grand apology for Andromeda.
A proper apology would've been to either continue supporting and improving Andromeda, or releasing a sequel that went above and beyond. A new IP does nothing in the way of apologizing.
It was a good way of putting a nail into Mass effects coffin so no one asked for it again.
There are very few coop titles let alone quality ones. Bring on Anthem. I'm game.
Diablo, Halo 5, Far Cry, Spelunky, The Division, Ghost Recon Wildlands, A Way Out, Borderlands, Payday, Gears of War, Rainbow Six Siege, Firewall, Helldivers, Alienation, Resogun, Livelock, Black Ops III, Destiny, Vermintide, FFXIV, Neverwinter, Warframe, any MMO.
dark souls and bloodborne too
I forgot Monster Hunter World, Minecraft, Friday The 13th, Dead By Daylight, Cuphead, Dying Light, Left4Dead, Dead Island, Fallout 76, R&C All 4 One, Fuse, Syndicate, GTAO, Don't Starve Together, RE5, RE6, Toukidan, Keep Talking Nobody Explodes, LittleBigPlanet 3, Killzone 3, Resistance 3, Knack 2. There are numerous games featuring co op and designed around co op.

There is no redemption when you're owned by EA (or Blizzard for that matter).
i loved andromeda and im not going to apologise or change my mind
Unlikely, certainly not from what I've seen so far.
No. Mass Effect is Bioware's flagship franchise and rather than give it the support it deserved they were more focused on developing their big Destiny clone. If anything Anthem was part of the reason ME:A was so undercooked. I truly believe Bioware was more focused on Anthem towards the end of ME:A's development. They had to know that Andromeda needed alot more work and there is no reason why they couldn't of pulled people from Anthem in order to support Andromeda. And not just for crunch, they should've used as many people as necessary in order to get Andromeda to a respectable level. So in short, no, Anthem will never "make up for Andromeda" especially considering it is likely part of the reason Andromeda wasn't up to snuff. Besides, Anthem doesn't look like anything i'd like to play anyway. It was impressive looking when it was first announced, but it got exposed at E3 2018.
No... Making a proper Mass Effect game starting at the end of 3 with Shepard being indoctrinated would. Your remaining team members would be pulling your Shepard away from the reaper and getting him/her to snap out of it. The game would begin with the continuing war on Earth.
No. No it cannot. Bioware was finished when the good doctors left the company, sad to say. I do not harbor high hopes for Anthem.
