Kotaku: GameTrailers TV Teases "Huge Announcement"

Kotaku writes: "Brace yourselves. The GameTrailers TV promo crew has fired up the Mr. Fusion, delivering 1.21 gigawatts of power to the internet hype machine, promising an exclusive bit of news on Call of Duty: World At War that will "rock the internet" and "will have everyone talking." Also on tap, the first trailer for Splatterhouse - one we desperately hope isn't the painfully brief preview we saw at Namco Bandai's Tokyo HQ".

The new Call of Duty World at War game type mode has me interested

The game was actually developed by Infinity Ward and not Treyarch and will hence be more playable than COD3? Now that would un-bunch some panties.

In truth however, could it be that those making COD will no longer make any more WWII games? I heard that on a podcast a day or so ago. No more COD games set in the WWII era. I can live with that. I have also heard that they might span the games out two years instead of one and that Treayarch is no longer going to be a COD developer. Just rumors though.

XPlay has had a handful of big news stories in the recent months and for the life of me I can't remember any of them. I hope GT can come through.
