BioWare’s Mark Darrah, executive producer on the upcoming Anthem, has been pretty forthcoming with answers to queries by fans on the internet, having taken to Twitter to talk about a number of things related to the game.
For starters, Darrah confirmed that Anthem will have hip shooting – which should have been kinda obvious, especially for a third person shooter, but it’s nice to have a confirmation either way. Additionally, in response to a different question from a fan, Darrah confirmed that Anthem will also have an in-game achievements system, separate from Trophies and Achievements
Additionally, that Anthem will have a codex, in true BioWare fashion, but unlike the one in Mass Effect, it won’t be voiced. Meanwhile, Darrah also confirmed that Anthem will have four Javelins at launch, but BioWare have confirmed in the past that more will be added on later that they haven’t revealed yet. When you start the game, you’ll start with the Ranger exosuit, while the other three will be unlocked as you play more.
Pocketpair, the developer behind Palworld, has said that the studio plans to remain a small independent game developer.
Hideo Kojima is widely known as a video games auteur, but what are his best games outside the Metal Gear franchise?
The Dragon's Dogma 2 game director has explained why there is no online co-op and why it was never explored as possibility.
fine with me, I play these kinda rpg's solo anyway. With co-op I always feel like I'm on a timer and can't explore everything I want to and take my time because I don't wanna make the other person wait.
The first game wasn’t co-op. Fans of the first game weren’t asking for co-op. You have pawns to make up your party so you can have full control playing solo.
Having at least one human buddy to join your game as your pawn would be dope, but I'm not complaining.
