goes to show how much the Japanese want this game but can't get their hands on it. Good sign that this game will sell very well.

I am really glad this game is doing so well, its really good.

Jinger2091d ago

I highly recommend this game if you're looking for a great RPG on Switch.

About 50 hours in. Truly an amazing game.

65hrs in, finally finished my second chapter 4. What a massive title!

I'm on chapter 4 for Olberic and Primrose. Everyone else aside from Tressa and Alfyn are Chapter 3. I'll be at this game for a while. My poor game backlog.

Just got to primrose chapter. I can’t stand turn based battle systems but I like this one it’s faster and exhilarating when you break the armor and unleash massive damage BP. Fun! Plus it’s not annoying anime child characters with that awful rock music in so many rpgs. This rpg is mature and actually tolerable.

I think God of War is a better made game overall, but I actually enjoyed Octopath more.

I disagree. GOW has a lot of problems. Octopath is a better made game, but to each their own.

Juvia2089d ago

I think it's pretty subjective. God War is awesome, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, but I certainly enjoyed Octopath Traveler more. However, I'm super big into turn based rpgs, and I'm not super big into action games.

So essentially I am Octo's target audience. Thus I cannot objectively compare the game to GOW given that it's not the kind of game I usually play.

Maybe due to it being published by square now has something to do with it. They delisted the Nintendo published version and will probably list the Square one going forward.

Example after example shows why all digital isn't a good idea. Yet people still doing it.
