Splatoon 2 has quite a lot going for it. It’s primarily a competitive multiplayer shooter like so many other games out there, but unlike the rest it manages to do something completely different with the idea. Players are given plenty of reasons to come back due to the constantly rotating maps, plenty of gear earn, and weapons to grind towards. The single player and cooperative modes aren’t half bad either. Oh, and the music, love it or hate it, has a kind of spice and energy to it that just isn’t seen anywhere else in gaming.
