Konami announced the appointment of a few new executives and an organizational restructuring to grow its gaming business.
Hmm, that’s interesting. Hopefully Konami change something for good this time.
their E3 lineup wasn't exactly bad. Zone of the Enders VR looked good and that sports title for Switch can become the console's Wii Sports IF THEY PRICE IT PROPERLY
They let Suikoden, Castlevania, and Silent Hill turn into what they are now; nothing. Between that, pachinko machines, their handling of Kojima... ehh. Most gamers are having a hard time listening to anything they say right now.
Fully agreed with everything you said. I'm still approaching with caution bc they have not made and great moves for gamers in a while.
Konami has burned so many bridges that they’ll continue to be looked down upon unfavorably
Wait, is Konami seriously doing this ?
Apparently. Personally, I'll wait for some results before I get my hopes up.
Hopefully Konami learned their lesson
To think how great Konami where back in the 90’s, especially SNES, arcade.
Too Little Too Late... They should just sell their IP's to other big Publishers and focus on their Pachinkos
New Contra inbound!
The only way to save Konami is if they ditch their current CEO for one more interested in making proper games. Sega went through something similar their former CEO said that Sega would only make PC and mobile games but once he left the company their current one changed that and focused more on core gamers.
They need to hurry up and release them MGS remasters.
Though they are a ghost of their former selves I still hold out some hope that they will turn things around in some shape or form. I’m probably just being optimistic, though.
