Congratulations to all who supported the PSVR. I'll get the second model when the PS5 arrives.

It's awesome but I need more full on games like Resident Evil 7 quality. Rez blew me away so any kind of on-rails shooter would be awesome. I wish Child of Eden came out for PSVR.

Gamist2dot02122d ago

Still waiting on Ace Combat 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Abnor_Mal2122d ago

They sure are taking their sweet time. Better not still require a day one patch, but I'm sure it will still need one.

UCForce2122d ago

I think the game will have release date soon. Maybe gamescom ?

Not one of these makes me want to run out and buy psvr. Same story. More gimmick experiences and mini games. Go spend hundreds of dollars more so you can play.... Tetris. Or play another random platformer. I wouldn’t buy any console for these games so why would I spend that money on the headset after buying the console to play these games. Come get me when I can have real races in Gran Turismo and play full games without teleporting.

RE7, Skyrim, Rec Room (free), Firewall Zero Hour (coming very soon), Farpoint, Driveclub.

All full games, no teleporting unless you want it. RE7 in VR in particular makes any other way of playing it completely inferior. And more games on the way like Ace Combat 7 and Blood and Truth. But sure, focus on the small games like Tetris and pretend the PS4/X1 had a tonne of great games only 18 months after launch.

Agree with what you said here. Re 7 was epic and a must play for vr. I think the best could be still to come for gen 1 PSVR. Astrobot and a few others look incredible.

PSVR is not that gimmick really. And it’s sure better than Kinect.

^ That's great, but VR is a game changer.

I'm having a hard time going back to standard GT Sport. Even if VR doesn't offer full races, the immersion is amazing.

I could go on, but will leave it there.

@ImGumbyDammit Oh really ? Kinect was sold a lot of copies because it was overhyped and response was negative. Back In 2016, Sony expected PSVR to be sold about 500.000 Units and it did exactly what they needed. PSVR is doing pretty well and better than other VR competitors. It’s growing slowly and steady. I think Sony will keep supporting PSVR.

Back In 2017, Digital Foundry said that Sony won’t do another Pro upgrade like they did with PS4 Pro. PS5 will be full on power with PSVR 2.0.

Dragonscale2122d ago

@kumakai, no worries its not compatible with xbone lol. How ironic considering most xbone 1st parties are gimmicky and sot is like one big mini game.

I do regret selling mine a few months after release, though I got the money I paid for it back due to the shortage.
Guerilla Cambridge closing whilst RIGS was my go to game kinda sealed it for me. Predictably PSVR games just weren't in the full swing of things as devs waited to rate the success of the hardware.
Needless to say, I will pick one up again at some point as for me, nothing comes close to PSVR this gen, the quality in the titles has been next level.
Ace combat could trigger me to buy it again.

PSVR2 Review - Creed: Rise to Glory | OtakuKart

When it comes to boxing, Creed is very much an arcade game. Before every fight, you will perform four to five different exercises, and the more of these you perform within the time limit, the more stamina you have for the fight ahead. The game sounds and looks fantastic as a VR game, and you will never get bored with playing throughout the story.
