Ghost of Tsushima is shaping up to be a very exciting exclusive for PlayStation 4 users, yet I wonder if it has the strength to stand out from the pack.
"yet I wonder if it has the strength to stand out from the pack." You are kidding. right? This is sarcasm surely. Few games shown at E3 are truly as unique in setting, gameplay, and fidelity.
This is the reason I stopped giving gaming "journalism" any weight. They always gotta find a way to speak positive about something then hit you with the big negative statement at the end.
Agreed. How many realistic feudal Japan games do we have? We have quite a few fantastical ones but none like this. Certainly none that look like classic samurai films. We also don't have many Bushido Blade type combat systems. And since this is Sucker Punch, fluid movement through the environment is a guarantee coupled with skill trees, armor sets, weapons, and what appears to be "meaty" sidequests. This game is shaping up to be something incredibly special and it's crazy that some people don't see it.
That's the norm with game journalism today and the gaming community in general, never happy unless they are finding fault with most games. It really makes we wonder why they play games there only passion for this amazing medium is to create negativity.
