AceGamez: PictoImage Review

AceGamez writes: " Pictionary is world renowned as the go-to game for frantic sketching and random guesses that are often funnier than the actual answer. The magic about Pictionary is that anyone can get involved, as the technique of drawing whatever you can relate the given word to is accessible to everyone. This mentality was obviously a large part of the conception of PictoImage, as the game is basically a DS version of the classic picture-based game. This simplicity is both the game's downfall and the reason why it's a great way of playing Pictionary.

If you thought that Brain Training was simplistic in nature then PictoImage will surprise you at just how simple a DS game can be. The only interaction to be found is drawing and answering, with these arguably not being gameplay at all. In single player you only carry out the guessing section of the game, with hundreds of ready-made pictures for you to make your mind up about. These range from the incredibly easy - those done by people over the age of fifteen, as the game gives you the gender and age of the person who drew the picture - to the near impossible, with some participants seeming to have had no word given to them on the day, their pictures are that obscure." (Nintendo DS, PictoImage) 6/10
