A "bigger, bolder world" has been promised.
that's cool I guess
Nice but Gaas elements minimize that to 10%
Follow tht Sony strategy to a T like your doing even after hypocritically saying things in the past lol I love it 😁
I didn't realize that open world aspects and changing the color palette were, "Sony strategies".
Yeah, Gears 5 is definitely on the radar for me, but I'm interested in hearing more about the TBS they're working on too!
I like the look of Gears 5. There's seems to be a bit more emphasis on Character. They look alive.
Do not turn it into liberal nonsense. Game does look exciting.
More unnecessary bolt-on mechanics that take away from the initial intent of this franchise and were never supposed to be there in the first place. Same mistake they made with The Lost Legacy.
I hope it doesn't loose its instenseness by moving to more open areas. That one locust with the dual clubs was awesome looking. Hopefully there is just open hub areas while most missions will stay more linear and focused. Does seem like they are going to try and grab some of that God of War style though.
The trailer gave a very different vibe and I'm so down with this.
Ehh.. I'm a big Gears fan but I'm against every game now days becoming Open World. Mainly because when games go Open World they are filled with useless fetch quests and stupid missions of pick x or kill x and deliver to x. I hate when games have filler content just to say they are big. But then again Gears as a Open World game could work out, I'll reserve my judgement for when I play it
Halo ce nailed it with the first halo mission and silent cartographer. If Gears 5 and halo infinite follow those examples itll be fine. Fo, ES, GTA and other open world games are good but those styles might not be a good fit for these games.
Game looked phenomenal
People complain when MS does the same crap year after year, then they try to spice up their games with new formulas and people complain. In a nutshell, people just like to complain.
