Following the gameplay reveal at Microsoft's E3 press conference, Activision reached out with a press release detailing FromSoftware's Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
I am so pumped for this game. This could be my most anticipated 3rd party game for sure.
This definitely not Bloodborne 2..lol. A totally new ip & it looks very interesting though I need to see gameplay.
It was 80% gameplay. Do you need to see more?
No it wasn't.
This looks SPECTACULAR.
The grapple hook got me. The Activision part shocked me though. If Miyazaki isn't working on this then I wonder what he on.
He is working on this.
This game looked absolutely amazing. Love the over the top action.
Its very souls mixed with nioh, i need more souls in my diet.
I thought it was Nioh...2.
So its a team B Fromsoftware game, just like Dark Souls 2, not a Miyazaki game.
Nonsense. Miyazaki himself is directing this game.
I had my hands in the air screaming tenchu while it was watching it lol. It looked great.
Wow it’s as if Miyazaki wants to show tecmo how to do a proper sengoku period game. The comparisons will be plenty. Should be interesting.
Very cool, so many great action games coming now.
Looks rad but I don’t think Miyazaki is working on this game hope we see his horror game at Sony’s presser.
he's the director it's doesn't have to be souls like before Demon's Souls he directed a couple of Armored Core games
You guys want Miyazaki to keep rehashing the same thing forever? How boring. With that attitude we would have never even got Souls games. Miyazaki is directing this game and it has a ton of potential. The mystical Feudal Japan setting is more interesting to me and the gameplay has more variety than just pure melee combat.
Infants.. Lol, "the game isn't PS exclusive.. So it's not for me" Lol.. Nappy changes all round then
That's exactly what's going on here. I love my PS4 Pro, but man the mentality of a lot of the fanboys is just cringeworthy. It's easy to see that multiplats continually get downplayed, while exclusives always get placed on the highest pedestals. Whether it's The Witcher 3, Sekiro Shadows Die Twice, or Cyberpunk 2077 there's a level of skepticism and outright criticism that would never be directed at them if they were exclusives.
This game looks SO DOPE
I was a little put off by just how similar it looks to Nioh, but I'll still likely get it regardless. Upon a second viewing I can see all the Souls goodness is still there. I guess I was just hoping to see the Soulslike formula used in a completely different setting. We've had medieval, victorian, feudal Japan, how about sci-fi fantasy, steampunk, ancient Egypt, wonderland-inspired, etc? I'd just love to see From Soft take a leap into something a bit more 'out there' that'll take us all by surprise.
Meh. Bloodborne 2 please.
I NEED IT NOWWWW!!!!!!!
Did they even say if there is character creation like the souls games? I read the official description and it uses "his and he" instead of "you or your" in many spots. I don't want another Nioh.
Microsoft couldn't get any exclusive games so they had to go and buy gaming companies 😂🤣😂 29315;🤣
My main issue with this game right now is the graphics are very hot and cold depending on the lighting. In dark areas this game looks very washed out, much like DS2. However, in full outdoor light the game looks incredible.
I am extremely interested to see gameplay of this and can't wait to see what it's about. Hopefully the normal mode is not as punishing as I'm not really a fan of getting my ass whooped over and over again, at the same time I hope that the harder difficulties prove a challenge for those who want that. This game looks awesome and reminds me of onimusha which is another series I wish they would revive (yes, looking at you Capcom). I absolutely love the design, and love the feudal Japanese demonic style games. I think we need more of these type of games. Can't wait to see more gameplay
