WTMG's Leo Faria: "I wasn't expecting to like ICEY as much as I did. Great visuals, a fun combat system, a great soundtrack and a surprisingly clever storyline are more than enough for me to recommend this game to any Switch owner, even though there are a few gameplay issues here and there. You could do a lot worse with this pricetag."
Game Duchy are today very excited and happy to announce the latest event to arrive in their hit mech battler "Iron Saga", and that would be the "iCEY" Collaboration Event.
So after hearing about the game, waiting with baited breath for the English version, as a mech enthusiast I couldn't get past the tutorial. Its that "meh" to me.
ICEY is a great game. It's like a 2D mix of Nier Automata and Stanley Parable. I know nothing about this other game.
Doesn't look all that fun. I'll check it out though as I've played games that didn't wow me in videos but ended up liking once I sat down and played them myself.
A bit of an "out of nowhere" collab but still cool to see. Iron Saga looks kinda meh imo but I'll be checking out anyway once it releases just to see how it really is.
Also, since Iron Saga is a chinese mobile game, it's nice to see a china developed mobile game collaborating with another chinese game, since most of ther collabs were, imo, with popular western ips or popular japanese ips.
Kinglink writes "I received ICEY as part of a bundle with the Steam Link. Actually, I bought the Steam Link and got ICEY with it, but I was curious about why it was the game to be featured in the Steam Link Bundle, so I put it in my queue, though near the bottom. Well, it’s time to finally look at ICEY and figure out what’s so special about it."
Today, the developers announced that the game’s success on the Nintendo Switch in the Japanese market has prompted them to localize the game in Japanese.
great game..hopefully more people will buy it..it deserves it
