Well it's nice to see the game getting the much needed content, if they keep this up in a year or two I may be buying the game.

From what I played for the first month with my free Game Pass sub, it was an amazing fkn game, it just needs more in it.

The difference here is that Rare isn't selling the DLC at a premium.

The difference is ND made a complete game and released a standalone expansion for it.

Rare is still finishing their game and will be for the next couple years most likely

Like the idiocrasy behind the idea that the lost legacy is cut content, where the hell would that actually fit into the uncharted 4 story.

It doesnt because it's a stand alone about two different characters that aren't the main ones...

You're one of the examples of why it won't matter that SoT launched with so little content. People who play it now understand how fun the core game is (because the core is all that's there ATM), and future updates with free DLC will add to the core and entice people like you to come back every so often and see what's new. A continually evolving game also has the ability to become what the gamers want because Rare is listening to feedback when deciding what new content to develop.

OT: The game should have just pushed back to July to launch, IMO, since the three DLC's would have been finished and included at launch along with greater stability. It would have at least made a difference in the review scores for those who care what others think of the games they choose to play.

The big shark is a hard fight. It's what the kraken should have been. They're promising weekly content for the rest of the year basically. 4 teams working on stuff. We'll see if the game becomes what it's capable of being.

But why do you care if others play something and enjoy it? I've had a lot of fun with the game and am excited for upcoming content. I'm not trying to sell the game to anyone. Every time there's a SOT story you write a 3 paragraph post putting it down.

You have no idea what's in the upcoming 5 updates. You're saying "lol those are just like the kraken." You don't know what's in them. The only thing we know for sure is Cursed Sails is adding a third ship type plus a lot more.

All you do is make yourself look crazy every time you post a 3 paragraph rant. If a poll was done you'd definitely win most annoying poster on N4G.

I haven't played the game, yet I don't like what they are trying to do.

In essence they are selling the foundation for a game and updating it after the fsct yo complete the game. Now I may have a bit of a double standard because I did defend Nms when it first came out, but I was going into the game with a low expectation/realistic. Expectation of what 12 people could do. Did I enjoy the game, absolutely, did I say people were wrong for hating on it, not really.

I just this style of game doesn't become the norm, where we have to wait a year or even two for the complete game to actually be available. Akin to ffxv. I got burned on that purchase because everything was cut from it and sold off after the fact. At least Rare isnt charging for it.

But at the end of the day, I do expect games to be complete at launch and only add additional content after the fact
