State of Decay 2 isn’t meant to go head-to-head with higher-profile zombie franchises, but if viewed as a unique combination of action-adventure and survival, it offers something you won’t see anywhere else.
That's one the biggest problems. At this stage of the gen Microsoft doenst need a diamond in the rough, but a pure diamond. A system seller, a must have, something that gamers really want, something that makes the diference. Not this.... A average zombie game.
so you are saying they are better off without this game then? Or should we be in the mindset of "the more the merrier" for MS's sake.
Keep in mind it’s also $30
Let's be realistic though. State of Decay 2 was never going to be that game. It was never going to be a system seller, nor was it meant to be.
But that has nothing to do with the game or its developers. That's a separate issue entirely.
A system seller? We all know that even if it was a diamond everyone here will be playing it on there super pc's...
Not sure why everyone was expecting a AAA masterpiece out of a $30 game and only the second game this dev has ever made. Oh well, it seems to be delivering EVERYTHING actual fans want from it, so I'm happy. Hopefully it gets a couple patches to iron out the performance tho.
Yea wtf since when was this game meant to be a killer AAA game. Regardless of it being good or bad, it's a budget title.
