I wish Sonic Team kept their enthusiasm about the franchise as much as Nintendo EAD has for Mario

A truly remarkable story tho.. Mario was untouchable and Sonic came & knocked him on his ass.. In those days it was a treat to witness.. I was 100% team sonic.. OG sonic only tho. I always had a nintendo at home but i spent my own money for the sonic console and it was cool back then.

Many Sonic games actually have several points where you need to go from right to left on the screen for a bit before you can return to going right, most notably Marble Zone. Sonic to me is actually a blend of the slow pace of traditional Japanese life and the fast pace of modern Japanese / American life.
