“Breaking: GameStop is putting up Nintendo Switch Versions Of Black Ops 4 on Display. The reveal is 3 days away. Let’s hope we find out info there”
..yes! I do need junk-food on my Switch😅 Still play BO2/Ghosts on my Wii U..👌
You and all 7 other people.
8 makes a match.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I ditched Ghosts, but BO2 was still relatively active the last time I checked it on Wii U, surprisingly.
hard to say if this is legit or not. The cases sort of look off a little, size-wise. But there were reports or a rumour that BLOPS4 might have a BR mode that would be included for Switch so this could be for that. Who knows. We will know more soon enough.
I know. The cases look legit. But who knows.
cant see why they wouldn't, there has yet to be a call of duty game that wouldn't run fine on switch with a few compromises.
Outside of graphical fidelity [I assume they'll have to drop it to 720p in handheld mode], I doubt the new BLOPS will be something that will need many compromises. I just hope they don't pull the whole "No DLC" bullcrap that they did on Wii U. I mean, yeah, the Wii U versions of CoD weren't gonna sell super great regardless, but not having all the maps definitely put a LARGE dent in their potential sales. Don't want to see that happen to the Switch entry of the series.
I'm in. I have purchased a few multiplat games on switch just because I can take it on the go. This will be one of them
For activision it’s hard to pass up on a potential switch version , I don’t blame em
Is it though? Not saying they’re not interested in the extra money, but CoD WW2 has made billions without a Switch version. Nintendo getting a third party support is a benefit for themselves; third parties are fine with or without.
Not really, if 3rd parties were team up and make their own console and out cut out the middle man, Sony and Microsoft would close up shop, none of them sell as well as Nintendo first party, and this not the Wii u situation anymore, both the handheld and console team are together on the switch, this why the vita fail Sony didn't want to spend money on a handheld team which put more work on console team, this and the memory card was the reason for failing. Nintendo would make 10 to 11 games a year with 4 or 5 for Wii u and the rest for the 3ds. Now their main focus is the switch they on their own can make one game for each month but since 3rd party games be coming lately now Nintendo can stock pile those extra games for months where they have no games. So they still in a better position then the other companies And putting it on switch adds more money to their pocket what business turns down money, let's just be honest you do not want us who have a switch and ps4 to be able to choose what game we want for our system, i should have the right to go to a store and pick call of duty for my switch or ps4 and stand there thinking do I want to play on the go using my cell phone internet or do i only want to play on a tv
Billions? Seems like a bit of a stretch, I take it you meant the franchise as a whole?
You actually believe Nintendo doesn’t need 3rd party? The NES and SNES were successful because Nintendo had 3rd party dominance. N64 and GC grew progressively weaker because Nintendo took 3rd party for granted. Wii U was a failure without it. The vast majority of games on Nintendo’s portable titles are third party. DS and Wii would not have had the sales numbers they did just relying on Nintendo developed exclusives. Get real dude, Nintendo needs 3rd party just as much as Sony and MS. It doesn’t matter how well their exclusives sell in relation; Wii U had several games with over a 50% attach ratio, yet the console still bombed.
Third parties make more money with Switch than without right now, given its popularity. "Fine" isn't even a factor; since they make more money by having a Switch version than they would without in most cases, why skip it? It's good business. And if sales are anything to go by for many of the Switch's titles thus far, a significant amount, at that, compared to its age and install base size.
What about a benefit to Switch owners? Not everyone wants to game on other consoles, even if they own them. Many of us would buy on Switch as long as it ran OKish just for the off tv play options. there is a great deal of downgrading that would prevent me from getting on Switch. Since we would likely pay more, I would hope they could be bothered to implement gyro aiming.
The system came out last year, so activision never saw that success coming
thats why it sells a lot /s. Don't be a fucking bandwaggoning idiot. It's a fun game. There's a reason people buy them,
The same reason people see Transformers. Mindless consumers.
I think segata might be on to something here
Just dont f**k up the zombie mode.
I know I will..👊
Would be awesome to have... If a Switch version gets announced before release, I'll get it over Xbox
Well I was convinced I wouldn't buy another cod game after ww2 because I barely played that one since I'm never home. If true this might make me purchase for switch
To bad it looks like it will only focus on mp so no good for on the go gaming unless you plan to hotspot all the time
That's what i plan to do i got a lot of internet
To be fair, hateful as it is, this would give people a reason to use their phones as hotspots as well as use the chat app. But honestly, I think most people are going to want to play this docked, anyways.
This could be the future of mp
Its called a placeholder...
