"Sony and Microsoft have both revealed their free game lineups for May 2018. Which service is offering the better value for gamers? Let's find out."
I don't think you can compare them this month considering Metal Gear Solid 5 was already free for plus the end of the year
They compare them every month, so last year there was a different set of games Xbox as well
Yeah, they don't really factor that in with their comparison, something to consider at the very least.
Rayman was already free on xbox
@Italiano Rayman Legends was free on Xbox eons ago... so I don't see your point. These selections should always be viewed from the "I haven't played any of them, I don't own any of them" perspective.
This sites comparisons are always BS. You need three consoles to play all the PS+ content -- one of which isn't made any longer, and one of which is now only available in Japan. For comparison, you only need one to play the GwG content. This sites raw "value" comparison is BS for those reasons.
If I ever get through PS’s exclusive library, I might start playing some of these free games.
so xbox wins on review scores of games offered and sony wins on total price and newness(? stupid). well for me the priority would be quality of games, not how much i am getting for free in dollars. so to sum up this dumb article, playstation wins cuz your getting more dollars for free (except your not cuz when your subscription is gone so are the games) and xbox loses cuz the games offered reviewed higher on average but some are slightly older.... *sigh*. I'd take phantom pain and vanquish over pretty much on offer for ps plus this month. also - ray man legends is only $19 in the xbox store and as low as $16.99 online so the math isn't even right...unless sony is charging twice as much for it.
Play games, f--k comparisons. Enjoy your console of choice.
Agreed, but PS+ is clearly superior in every way this month.
This is getting sad.
