They all have their unique ups and downs, but more or less, all of which serve the same purpose within the vast medium of entertainment.
The one with the best exclusives.
There will be a lot of spinning about this topic. If you're not a fanatic and can be objective then the best all around console is the ps4 which can satisfy majority of different types of gamers needs. Nintendo doesn't have a lot of games nor will it get a lot because more than 90% of games won't be released to the system due to hardware constraints. If you're a child, old or fond of Nintendo few old ips then I guess the switch may be for you. Nintendo has a handful of quality exclusives while Sony has a massive amount of quality exclusives. Nintendo console is very limited in power so expect last gen graphics. The switch lacks a proper online infrastructure so don't expect to communicate with friends or people in general on switch with its very few online games. Don't expect a lot of third party multiplatform games on switch either because the system is too weak to run a lot of games The Xbox is a better system than the switch but you can use xbl for free on pc and play all Xbox games with better performance. Ps4 is just the best console with a lot of amazing and critically acclaimed games from AAA games to smaller indie titles. The ps4 also is the only console that supports VR if interested. Think about the fact that Nintendo switch is in a drought now. While Sony is releasing the amazing god of war they are releasing labo
“Nintendo has a handful of quality exclusives while Sony has a massive amount of quality exclusives. ” 🤦♂️ How long have you been a gamer exactly?
"If you're not a fanatic and can be objective" that's easy to say yet when people say that they pick anything other than PS4 it's made into a big deal as some who did choose PS4 aren't exactly objective are they
Exclusive domination across the nation for Nintendo and Playstation!
If you game on PC, then you have the difficult choice of a PS4 or the Switch.
I am mainly a PC gamer, and I also have a PS4 and a Switch. But I can't even remember the last time I played on my PS4. Almost every game I like on it is also on PC. That's why I think that for a PC gamer, a Switch seems like a better choice. Not only it has a lot more exclusives that will never be released on PC, but it can also be taken with you like a portable. Although Detroit: Become Human may change my mind.
"... a Switch seems like a better choice. Not only it has a lot more exclusives that will never be released on PC,..." which Sony exclusive went to PC? I know there are games already on PS Now, but that would need for you to subscribe. and last I heard, many are calling PS Now as a "crappy game streaming service nobody wants".
@badz149 I think you didn't understand what I said. I didn't mean Sony exclusives went to PC, but that Sony has less games that didn't appear or will appear on PC. Seeing the list of best games on PS4, with the exception of a few exclusives like God of War, Horizon and Uncharted, the rest I can (and did) buy on PC - and with better framerate/resolution. So my point is, if you're a PC gamer, unless you absolutely like/want the few great Sony's exclusives, almost everything you would play on a PS4, you can do it on PC. Meanwhile the Switch has more games that can't be played on a PC - and with the addition of portability. So unless you don't like Nintendo games, it makes more sense to spend money on a Switch if you can't afford both consoles but wants more diversity in games.
PS4 & Switch i think is the best possible combo for consoles..
"Greatness awaits" isn't just a slogan, it's a fact. Greatness awaits everybody who buys a playstation. Switch is a great competitor but 2018 is another stellar year for ps4. The third console i wouldn't recommend buying at all. Would be a better option to have a pc on par or just above xb1s(if you don't want to spend too much) ready when games from the 2 main ips arrive every 2-4 years. This way one doesn't even need to pay for xbox live.
PS4 without a doubt.
PS4 Pro and Switch is the best combo.
Xbox One, Xbox One S, and Xbox One X. There can be three ones.
PS4 PRO is the best overall due to the killer exclusives and extra power the Pro offers.
PS4 without a question
I already got a PS4, Switch and gaming laptop, so I'd say I'm pretty much set for anything I want to enjoy. :)
PS4 for me and mine! The Switch is our 2nd console for Nintendo exclusives.
Ps4, or if you like Nintendo games, get a Nintendo.
If you like story based games get a playstation. If you like children games get a Nintendo. If you like playing original xbox and xbox 360 games get a xbox one.
Been playing a lot of NES and Genesis and GameCube these days. Losing interest in the new stuff
Where are the exclusives you want to play? The answer to that will determine which system you ought to buy.
People here will have a fun seizure but I'll still proudly say: VITA of course!
Ill stick with the x until last of us 2 and dust of my ps4. Im not a xbox nut job but with game pass and ea access, ive got loads to play.
The one whose exclusives I like the most. So PS4 Pro and Switch for me.
At the end of the day it's the console for which ever type of games you enjoy. For me it's PS4 as I'm mainly a single player type guy and love all the PS4 different types of exclusives.
The one I can play off TV portably is the best for me.
The one that you want.
PS4. Xbox is ran by alcoholics that don't know what gamers want. The people that made Xbox great, are gone. And no matter how much we complain, nothing will change.
PC+Nintendo 3DS is by far the best combo!!!
