if Pokemon can release this holiday season along with Smash Bros.. the sheer explosion in hardware and software sales will be massive.

SWITCH WILL overtake Xbox one this year as the analyst predicted

If they release around the same time it might actually be harder to find a Switch when they drop than it was at some points last year, haha.

Nintendo apparently plans on shipping over 20 million Switches this year, so they theoretically could have enough to push both Smash and Switch this year. Especially if they can get 3+ million in Japan this holiday, what with Smash, Pokemon, and Yokai Watch (3 huge Japanese sellers) coming this year.

I'm hyped for both!!! :) When I heard Project Beluga, I immediately thought of that whale with that odd shaped head. Grade school really paid off I guess. ;p

Super Smash Bros. is going to come with the Online Service in September. It's not going to be a Holiday title. Pokemon will.

Hopefully we get more news at e3. If all we get is a teaser trailer it wont be releasing this year.

The first trailer for Pokemon are always teaser trailer. It been like that since XY.
Every reveal is within the year they release. 6-10 months before release. Been like that since XY.

Then we should get a trailer between now and June

Seeing how it seemed development only started a little over a year ago I feel like this only going to be Pokemon hd and not some all out game of the generation I'm hoping for.

MrMagz243d ago

I think there were reports of GameFreak working on an HD Pokemon game as early as late 2016. This would make sense since the B-team worked on Ultra Sun/Moon, giving the main team a little over 2 years since Sun/Moon to work on something bigger.

That what I been trying to tell everyone on this site but nope they don't want to accept the fact.

* Smash Bros, Pokemon, Fire Emblem + whatever other announcements/surprises we get at E3.

The back half of 2018 is loaded for Switch,PS4 & XB1. I play my 3rd party games on XB1, so yea they still factor into this race even though PS4 has more games and exclusives than XB1.
