By now you've probably seen the first trailer for the Wizard class. If not, go watch it now.
You back? Good. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to play through the demo with a group -- so I decided to tackle it solo. After selecting my very own Wizard and spawning in the murky swamp-like area outside New Tristram, I quickly found some zombies to kill. They offered little challenge as my basic melee attack -- a shield of ethereal blades -- killed most basic enemies with only one or two strikes. Soon, I found an optional quest after opening a chest and finding a child's doll. A ghostly form appeared and explained that the doll belonged to her daughter, and she asked me to take the doll and toss it in the wishing well to free her daughter's soul. Diablo III, on top of its random dungeons, is full of random quests such as this, which should help make each playthrough a little less repetitive."
