PSN Maintenance Includes Firmware Update

As you may have already seen on the PlayStation.blog, the PlayStation®Network will be down today from approximately 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. PST for "essential maintenance work." This maintenance work includes updating the firmware for the PLAYSTATION®3 system. (Culture, PS3, SOCOM: Confrontation)
